Blackpool and the North West are popular places to visit for both locals and visitors to the area. Blackpool is a well-known holiday destination and has been popular since Victorian times.

The northwest holds many different things to do there are many places to go view an art gallery, for a picnic, to shop and many other things. The northwest has many cities such as Liverpool and Manchester. Liverpool will be the city of culture in 2008.
