As well as for vegans they also cater for Gluten, Wheat free, Coeliac & other special diets. They use fair trade products. No children under 13

I spent 3 days here and was throughly impressed. Not only is the standard breakfast menu super vegan and veggie friendly but I was offered vegan specials such as a tofu and spinach pancake with melting cheesely on top.

The owners Sue and Barry are great hosts and the beds are comfy.

The owners put a restriction on having takeaways in your room, which as a vegan, I've had to in other places, but Winnermere has more than enough eating options for this not to be an issue.
