"I have stayed with Audrey many times, and felt of her as a friend, we moved to Wales last year, and missed our usual visit, i know it is her birthday on the 10th of October, and wonder if anyone knows where i can send her card, and can any one tell me how she is, and please pass our message on to her, she is a very special lady. "Sadly Audrey who runs the wildlife hotel is in hospital at the moment and the hotel is no longer trading. "

"Sadly we were also let down, so cannot comment on the room/food. We booked via phone in May and were told it was fine to pay when we got there.this was for a festival, we rang the week coming up to the event and were told we had not booked and Audrey then went off on a tangent about a previous tennant. Sad as we want to support vegan/vegiie b and b's but we were let down badly and would not recommend this place. "

"Sadly I'm unable to properly review the hotel since we were so badly let down by the people running this hotel. We booked over a month in advance, and left our phone numbers and details. We were specifically told when booking if anything come up to call and let them know- shame they didn't take their own advice! for when we called to let them on the morning that we would be arriving later on the evening due to having a late train, we discovered that we no longer had a booking there and were asked if we could try again later in the month. Obviously not since we'd booked time off in advance from work and our trains etc. We feel very let down by the lack of professionalism with which we were handled and fell that they should have let us know in advance, imagine what would have happened had we just turned up! Luckily we managed to find alternative accomadation at this short notice although at extracost and without vegan food options. Thanks to the poor customer service of the Wildlife our holiday was nearly ruined. "

"I have stayed at this hotel 2 or 3 times, not recently, last time was 2000. I highly recommend it. I've stayed in other Blackpool Hotels which a grubby, tatty and expensive. This place is clean, immaculate friendly and best of all ~ vegan. "

"We have just got back and can only say what a delight it was to stay at this wonderful oasis of animal friendliness in the middle of Blackpool. We could combine a family visit to the Pleasure Beach with a hearty vegan breakfast and very clean and comforable rooms with good shower facilities in all of them. We will be back in the Spring when we next visit Blackpool. We have also featured it in the animal-friendly web directory we look after www.dogwhale.com "

"I have stayed at the Wildlife Hotel several times. You can be sure of a big vegan breakfast to set you up for the day and so nice to rest easy knowing what you eat is 100% vegan as well as scrumptious AND you can take your pet! "

Alex Lambrou on 9th Jul 2005 16:21

"I have been visiting Blackpool regularly for 15 years and when there I always stay at the Wildlife Hotel because it is meat-free, serves tasty meals, has comfy and clean accommodation and gives friendly and genuine customer service. "
